About MonitorVPS

Why we built it

Most monitoring tools are built for large teams with dozens of servers. If you run a few VPS instances for personal projects or client work, you end up paying for features you don't need, or cobbling together shell scripts and hoping they work. We wanted a single dashboard where you can see your servers at a glance, get alerts when CPU or memory spikes, and not think about it the rest of the time.

Why the free tier exists

If you only have one or two servers, you shouldn't have to pay to know when they're down. The free plan includes everything that matters: CPU, memory, and disk monitoring, process tracking, anomaly detection, email alerts, and 90 days of historical data. The paid plans add more server slots and webhook integrations for teams that need them.

The company behind it

MonitorVPS is built and operated by Techinate, based in Sweden. All data is stored on EU servers. We don't sell user data or run ads. The service is funded by paid plans.

What it monitors

The agent runs on your Linux server, collects metrics every 5 minutes, and sends them to your dashboard. You can see:

• CPU usage with historical trends
• Memory consumption and potential leaks
• Disk space across all mounted volumes
• Running processes sorted by resource usage
